According to the Transport Portal, by the order of the President’s Advisor and Secretary of the Supreme Council of Free Trade-Industrial and Special Economic Zones, and in the presence of the Minister of Economic Affairs and Finance, the “Executive Director of Incheh Borun Free Zone” was appointed.

In this ceremony, which was attended by the CEO of Anzali Free Zone Organization, the deputies of the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Free Zones, and the officials of Golestan Province, the President’s Advisor said: “The Incheh Borun Free Zone can contribute to the economic prosperity and development of Golestan and improve the livelihood of the people of Golestan.”

The Secretary of the Supreme Council of Free Trade-Industrial and Special Economic Zones also introduced the Anzali Free Zone as the coordinator of the Incheh Borun Free Zone and said: “The Incheh Borun Free Zone will be supported by the financial resources of the Anzali Free Zone until its formation and development.”
It is worth mentioning that the “Executive Office of Incheh Borun Free Zone” is located in the city of Gorgan, Golestan Province.
It should be noted that in a directive issued by the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of Free Zones and Special Economic Zones to the CEOs of the country’s free zone organizations, each free zone was introduced as the coordinator of that zone based on proximity and similarities in defined actions and capacities.
With the vote of the members of the Expediency Discernment Council, the establishment of seven free trade-industrial zones “Mehrani” in Ilam Province, “Sistan” in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, “Baneh-Marivan” in Kurdistan Province, “Bushehr” in Bushehr Province, “Qasr-e Shirin” in Kermanshah Province, “Ardabil” in Ardabil Province, and “Incheh Boron” in Golestan Province was approved.
